Family Fun in Fiji: Our Experience Staying at Radisson Blu Resort post Covid

If you’re looking for a family-friendly getaway that’s not too far from Australia, Fiji is the perfect destination. With its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and friendly locals, it’s no wonder that Fiji has become one of the most popular vacation spots for Australians. And if you’re planning a trip to Fiji with your family, the Radisson Blu resort is the perfect place to stay.

Located on Denarau Island, just a short drive from Nadi International Airport, the Radisson Blu resort is a beautiful 5-star hotel that offers all the amenities you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. With spacious rooms, beautiful views, and plenty of activities for both kids and adults, this resort is the perfect home base for your Fiji adventure.

Our family of five recently stayed at the Radisson Blu for five days, and we had a fantastic time. Here are some of the highlights of our trip:

Accommodation:

We stayed in a two-bedroom suite at the Raddison Blu, which was perfect for our family. The suite was spacious and well-appointed, with a fully equipped kitchen, a large living area, and two bedrooms with comfortable beds. We also had a balcony with a stunning view of the ocean, where we enjoyed breakfast each morning.

Food and Drink:

The resort offers several dining options, including a buffet breakfast, a poolside bar and grill, awesome thai, and a beachside Lebanese restaurant. We enjoyed all of our meals at the resort, and the food was always delicious. The buffet breakfast was particularly impressive, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes.

We loved the Lebanese restaurant at Radisson Blu Fiji. It offers a unique dining experience with a menu that showcases the rich flavors and aromas of Lebanese cuisine. Located beachside, this intimate setting is decorated with traditional Lebanese elements, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for diners. The menu features an array of Lebanese dishes, including mezze platters, succulent grilled meats, flavorful dips, and fresh salads. The restaurant also offers an extensive wine list, with options to pair with each dish.

Activities:

There’s no shortage of things to do at the Rddisson Blu. The resort has beautiful pools, a fitness center, and a spa, as well as a range of activities for kids, including a kids’ club and a playground. We also enjoyed taking a boat trip to one of the nearby islands, where we swam in the warm waters and relaxed on the beach.

Riding the Bula Bus

Riding the Bula bus from Radisson Blu to Port Denarau is a fun and affordable way to explore the beautiful island of Fiji. The bright and colorful Bula bus is a popular mode of transportation for both tourists and locals, and it offers a unique way to experience the island’s vibrant culture. The journey from Radisson Blu to Port Denarau is scenic and enjoyable, passing through local villages and along the stunning coastline. The bus is open air and winds slowly around the resort district. Upon arrival at Port Denarau, passengers can explore the various shops, restaurants, and activities available in the area before hopping back on the Bula bus for the return journey. Overall, riding the Bula bus is a memorable and enjoyable way to travel from Radisson Blu to Port Denarau.

Staff and Service:

One of the things that really stood out during our stay at the Radisson Blu was the exceptional service. The staff were always friendly and attentive and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Whether we needed a recommendation for a restaurant or help to book an activity, the staff were always happy to assist.

Overall, our family had a wonderful time at the Madison Blu in Fiji. With its stunning location, comfortable accommodations, and range of activities, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind with your loved ones. If you’re planning a family trip to Fiji, we highly recommend this resort.
