Wednesday Trivia Nights at Hotel Canobolas, Orange

As a regular attendee of Wednesday Trivia with Neil Gill at the Hotel Canobolas, I have witnessed some truly epic battles of wits and knowledge. Every Wednesday evening, trivia aficionados from all over Orange gather at the Hotel Canobolas to test their brains and compete for bragging rights.

From the moment I walk through the door, the energy is electric. The sound of chatter and laughter fills the air, as teams huddle together to strategize and review their notes. The bar is bustling with activity, as trivia-goers enjoy a pre-game drink or two to loosen up their minds.

As the clock ticks closer to the start time, the tension builds. The trivia host takes the stage, and the room falls silent. He greets us all with a smile, but there’s a glint of mischief in his eye. He knows he’s about to put our brains to the test.

The game begins, and the questions start flying fast and furious. Some are easy, while others are devilishly tricky. My team scribbles furiously on our answer sheet, trying to keep up. We discuss and debate, sometimes arguing over the correct answer. But that’s all part of the fun.

As the rounds progress, the competition heats up. Some teams start to pull ahead, while others fall behind. But everyone remains in good spirits, cheering each other on and sharing high-fives and laughs.

And then comes the final round, the moment of truth. The scores are tallied, and the tension in the room is palpable. The host reads out the top three teams, and we all hold our breath.

And then, the moment of truth: my team is announced as the winners! We let out a whoop of excitement and jump up from our seats, high-fiving and hugging each other.

As we bask in our victory, we know that we’ll be back next week, ready to do it all over again. Because Wednesday Trivia at the Hotel Canobolas isn’t just about winning – it’s about the thrill of the game, the camaraderie of the teams, and the fun of testing our knowledge against others.
