Bamboo Elephant Family Care is an exceptional elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai that offers an incredible experience for families with young children. We stumbled upon this sanctuary while browsing through the Airbnb brochure and were immediately captivated by the opportunity to interact with elephants in a safe and ethical environment.

We were picked up from our accommodation by bus and driven to the sanctuary, we were warmly welcomed by the staff who introduced us to the elephants. Our children were thrilled to see the majestic animals up close and were eager to learn more about them. The staff was patient and knowledgeable, and they made sure that our children understood the importance of elephant conservation and the sanctuary’s role in protecting them.

We spent hours feeding the elephants and learning about their unique personalities and habits. Our children were particularly excited to see the baby elephants playing and running around, and they couldn’t stop talking about them for days after our visit.
